December’s getting closer and that means a new host of Christmas soirees to attend. Your style must be bold, and fabulous, and bang on trend; and of course your attire must be too. Headmasters has the perfect look to keep your hair in vogue and party proof, and I was lucky enough to sample it a little earlier than most.
With a nod to the swinging sixties, the new Christmas blow-dry is all about creating big bounce and volume thanks to a host of products, from Kerastase’s Lift Vertige, a cunning root lift serum, which is smoothed onto wet hair, followed by volume-enhancing blow-dry gel, Forme Fatale and lastly L’Oreal’s Constructor techni art spray.
My hair was then smoothed with the fabulous ghd air drier (£99) adding volume, while my stylist rolled my hair with a small roller brush to create volume at the roots, and a wonderful halo effect. My hair was then sectioned off while the stylist glided the new ghd eclipse styler (£195) from root to tip, rotating it to create soft curls at the end. The curls were then individually pinned until cool (to make them last) and then brushed out with a final flick of fabulousness.
I felt like a supermodel parading my new, stylish sixties look along Oxford Street, transformed from frumpy mum to yummy mummy in 45 minutes.
You can book in for your very own Headmasters Christmas Blow-dry, which is available nationwide priced from £28, from 1 December 2013. To find your local Salon, visit www.headmasters.com.
