Two of the most influential power players in fashion land have been dressed up like British royalty for the launch of Sunday Times Style Magazine’s first ever guide to those individuals who put the ‘style’ into stylish.
Fashion designer and Mum of 4, Victoria Beckham, comes over all Queen Elizabeth in bejewelled crown and insignia alongside supermodel Kate Moss’ uber-chic take on the Queen Mother and Tinie Tempah putting some pop cool into Prince Charming for the campaign. The magazine is also unveiling its brand new re-design in conjunction with this style guide, turning its attention more definitively to fashion, beauty and featuring some of the world’s best photography.
Thanks to the magazine’s powerhouse team that includes: AA Gill, Camilla Long, Colin McDowell, Shane Watson, Christina Lamb, Giles Hattersley, Kate Spicer, Tiffanie Darke, Claudia Croft, Richard Gray, Francesca Hornak, Fleur Britten, Michael Hennegan, and of course Mrs Mills; the thoughtfully compiled list of 50 individuals who have stood out as fashion beacons so far this year was served up yesterday alongside the traditional Mother’s Day flowers, cards and breakfast in bed.
Offering up not only a visual representation of who epitomises sartorial savvy in this day and age, but further delving beneath the fabric to demonstrate the very fine links between taste, style and personality; the newly launched magazine will see a slew of brand activities held in its name across the year. Readers will be invited to a series of Style Conversations hosted at the Savoy, with Erdem first to take the helm in April.
2012 may have been all about sport as the Olympics dominated our airwaves, but get ready as 2013 sets it mind to style with a capital S.
