Topshop Make Up create animation with Sadie & Jo

High street favourite Topshop launched its beauty brand Topshop Make Up nearly three years ago to wild acclaim, lending sparkle to the world’s of cosmetic connoisseurs everywhere with its range of bold and vibrant hues, innovative formats and ability to always remain one step ahead of the trends. Now the brand has partnered with cult video-making duo Sadie & Jo to create a stop-frame animation featuring its entire collection of Nail shades.

In celebration of the bold, the bright and the sparkle, the video makers, who have previously collaborated with Loewe and Marc Jacobs, have applied their strain of kitsch and fun animation to Topshop Nails. Colourful dancing nails and kooky floral arrangements made of nails make up the enchanting imagery as everything from the brand’s glitter range to nail art pens and its latest innovation, peel off nails – due in store next month as part of its SS13 Make Up Edit Trend – offer something for everyone. With the Topshop Unique show coming up on the London Fashion Week schedule in a matter of weeks, I imagine we’ll see a few nail trends on the catwalk.

Celebrating Topshop Make Up’s passion for beauty and its support of emerging talent and young artists, Kate Phelan – Creative Director for Topshop – commented on the partnership. She said: “Sadie and Joe have created an animation to welcome in the new S/S’13 colours for our extensive nail range. Colour is key for S/S’13 and Sadie and Joe have brought to life the wonderful colour range available within the Topshop Make Up collection. The animation is fresh, innovative and the duo have completely captured the spirit of the Topshop Make Up Nail Collection.”

Put simply, true beauty is in your hands.
