“Big girls need big diamonds.” – Elizabeth Taylor
An icon of our time, Elizabeth Taylor has become synonymous with jewellery and more specifically, diamonds. I like to think I have that in common with her, particularly after hearing one other bejewelled quote by the legendary actress: “My mother says I didn’t open my eyes for eight days after I was born, but when I did, the first thing I saw was an engagement ring. I was hooked.” I too have begun my love affair with jewellery early on, amassing a collection of necklaces, diamond bracelets and charms and all before my first birthday.
Due to celebrate my very first Valentine’s next month, I expect nothing less than to receive the gift of jewellery and I have a few pieces already in mind as PANDORA unveils a collection of charms especially for the season of romance. Inspired by the hearts and flowers atmosphere pervading the air in the lead-up to February 14th, the jewellery brand has covered a range of earrings, rings and charms in sparkling red, white and black gemstones. The charms (starting from £35) have been crafted in a heart-shaped setting and a dangle design and are decorated with pave-set cubic zircona and gems in the brand’s timeless style.
The Valentine’s collection is available across all PANDORA stockists and online at www.pandora.net.
