Referencing a song from one of the all-time greatest movies, Fiddler on the Roof, miracles come great and small but of all the miracles Aussie have unearthed the most miraculous one of all in fellow Australian export, designer Kelly Love.
Launching her eponymous luxury womenswear label at the New Generation Show at Australian Fashion Week, Kelly has asserted her unique aesthetic within the global fashion arena finding her place among London’s budding talents since relocating in 2008. Her collections are infused with the delicacy of femininity and bear a sense of golden ages past with their echoes of old world glamour and simple silhouettes. Each piece within each beautifully constructed collection reveals Kelly’s attention to detail and expert tailoring, combining artistic prints with wearable shapes and styles.
It is no wonder then that leading hair-care brand, Aussie, has chosen Kelly to be its style ambassador as it unveils its newest range of products in Miracle Shine. An extension of the designer’s AW12 collection, the limited edition Kelly Love for Aussie Miracle Shine silk scarf blends the notion of Ethereal Darkness with exotic Australian wildflower prints in hues of blood red, French navy and dusty blue.
Looking ahead to SS13, Kelly’s new season collection The Idyllic Hour, takes its inspiration from sunlight and love exploring the affection between people, the places we call home and our individual journeys to becoming who we are. Click Here to read my interview with Kelly.
From the rays of sartorial prowess to the bottled sunshine that comes courtesy of Aussie’s newest range, each Miracle Shine product, from shampoo and conditioner to nourishing 3-minute treatment is enriched with pearl powder, Australian Ginseng extract and a healthy dose of Australian heritage.
