A mostly white collection, Missoni heated things up with shots of colour in bold hues of raspberry, peach and coral across a collection that was fresh and yet comprised all the elements that are signature of the fashion label. Kaleidoscope stripes went diagonally, horizontally and vertically across a stunning maxi dress, which caught the light courtesy of sprays of pink glitter. Red lips and bags strapped across the body, accessorised tie-dyed trapeze shape shifts, mesh sweaters with city shorts and visor, while a silky white shift and white quilted jacket were topped with chunky crystal chokers. Layers were veiled over shift and t-shirt dresses in flirty sheer chiffon and white floral mesh, while pink piping climbed up the legs of white cigar trousers; and tie-dyed oversized men’s shirts were teamed with white mini-skirts embellished with pink sequins. The mood was flirty, fun and youthfully stylish, showcasing the trademark prints and patterns of the Missoni brand. In short, it would be exactly what I would want from a summer wardrobe, pink, sparkly and touchably textured.
